Solved New Setup - Issues

@badboy45
Yes, that’s not a bad profile to start with until you find what works best for you but I really recommend using the Alternative Launcher program for mapping keys, its so easy to change settings should you decide to alter something you dont like or wish to add. I prefer to use the full BMS file and modify it to suit my tastes. -
thank you all

@badboy45 new issue…

on the axisassign and avionics/radio section i have setup my x & y cursors on the throttle quadrant with the middle finger key. the issue i have is that its very sensitive and makes using the button unstable. inputs in the x axis also move the y axis and vice versa.

any fix to this?

@badboy45 not sure about this, but in the configuration panel before launching Falcon BMS, go to avionics,. cursor speed --> you may slow down cursor speed, this could help you…

@Necker cant seem to find cursor speed…

-

@badboy45

on the main menu before lauching falcom BMS, on the second line you’ll see “Configuration”
open it, the first line is avionics and inside it there’s the cursor speed.

@badboy45

These lines will also help with your microstick response curves (add them to the end of your User/falcon bms.cfg file using a text editor like notepad++ or emacs:

set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 60 // Axis exponential curve. Should be in 0 - 100 range. 0 is disabled (default)
set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 0 // Axis saturation. Should be in 0 - 99 range. 0 is disabled (default)
set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_X 60 // Axis exponential curve. Should be in 0 - 100 range. 0 is disabled (default)
set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_X 0 // Axis saturation. Should be in 0 - 99 range. 0 is disabled (default)
-

@Necker i am using the alt launcher, maybe that is why i can’t seem to find it.

@hoover i did add these lines. thank you - i do not see any difference, the microstick is very sensitive, when i move on the y axis, there is input on the x axis as well. vice versa.

@badboy45 Configuration is on the Alternative Launchers launcher page. Look for an Orange icon with CFG marked “config”
