@Seifer
No worries mate, release when you feel it’s ready. Good things come to the patient ones, who can wait :)

@Seifer
Thanks a lot. Not just for this update, but because you’re keeping on being frank and honest.
About the release date… “Chistmas will come at its own day, not before nor after”.

With best wishes to you and all the devs. and the beta testing crew, and best regards.

@LorikEolmin As a very, very low level coder I can only imagine the headaches of overcoming this (and no doubt the satisfaction when you do) and commend all the devs for the untold hours they put in on what is obviously a labour of love for them. THANK YOU ALL!!

@Seifer Amazing effort. We’re patient; after all, this is a free update to a free mod. Still boggles my mind the amount of talent going into this. Thank you all.

Listen, just release 4.36 right away OR ELSE!!

Or else i’ll wait… <img src=“/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f60a.png?v=gcfd8gb1ch8” alt=“” class=“not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji–blush” />

I just started a 4.35 campaign a couple of weeks ago and getting amazed with what included in 4.35 now.
I can wait even a half year for 4.36 release.
Thank you for your efforts. Please take time as long as you want and need.

Awesome news, amazing what you do for us and for the world of combat sim!!!

-

Very quick update: code has been frozen for a while, so far no critical reports. All bugs reported will wait for a future update (yes, there are quite a bunch of them, but they can wait). I’ve been playing MP campaign frequently with 2-6 players, so far so good. We are mainly in test phase now and some internal matters are being sorted out.

If nothing else critical shows up in the next few days, we can pack and get our blessing. Don’t expect anything in the next few days, though. There is some bureaucracy work that needs to be done, so this will still take a couple of weeks.

@Seifer
Thanks a lot for this new update, dear mate.

What? Bureau@@@@######? Even here? This can’t be definitively serious. Bah.

With best regards.

What? Bureau@@@@######? Even here? This can’t be definitively serious. Bah.

If I’m not mistaken, every time they ship a new major version of BMS, they have to get an agreement with the
actual licence holder of Falcon 4.0., but I’m not really sure.

Anyway, good news Seifer and thanks for updating us. <img src=“/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f44d.png?v=opoh9i0f0lo” alt=“” class=“not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji–+1” />

Glad to see this is chugging along! Let me know if you need a tester.
Cheers!

-

@glide please talk to @MaxWaldorf about this. We definitely need more testers.

-

@Seifer
Really?
So I did some months ago.
I am still waiting to be involved in anything.

With best regards.

-

@Jackal Providing an application doesn’t mean an automatic entry into the team…

There is screening and internal approval.

@MaxWaldorf No worries. I don’t want to cause a ruckus. The MiB’s monitor all my comms now. Something to keep in mind. But, this isn’t the old days when we worked on patch 3 and 4 together. I’m retired now, with lots of time. And I can write software in my sleep.
