Solved Wingman not engaging anymore

First of all, thanks for the 4.36. Amazing stuff once again. I have started KTO and Balkans campaigns and in both I have difficulties to get wingman attack targets I try to point out. In dedicated strike missions everything is fine, but if I choose to take e.g. AGM-154’s in BARCAP mission for targets of opportunity, then my wingman won’t attack the pointed targets as before 4.36. Wingman copies and says that he attacks but he doesn’t. Just stays on the wing. Has this changed to be non acceptable way to ‘hijack the BARCAP mission’?

The problem of AI in AG mission not following orders to engage AA is known and fix is already cooked for U1

@Mav-jp I think the op was referring to the opposite, taking AG munitions on AA sorties but AI wingmen won’t engage ground tgts.

You need an original AG mission for AI to engage ground targetsStop hacking. , delete and rebuild properly the mission

Ok, thanks. I was assuming that might be the reason i.e. that mission must be preplanned now properly. How about BAI or SCAR missions? Does AI wingman engage itself or if target is pointed out or does that require target definition before the flight?Well in AI mission AI flight worked ok. There is no more BAI/SCAR mission to select at planning. Perhaps as it should, I dunno…

They can engage air targets but not when they are in their aG pass. So make sur to not command them to engage aa after a « IN » call
You can however call a rejoin then a attack my target
Don’t use weapons free for AA targets wit h AG mission

Perhaps related to this, I’ve noted consistently in SEAD missions the following behaviour of AI wingmen:
- Order wingman to ‘attack my target’ (SAM radar which he does succesfully)
- Rejoin (succesfully)
- Order wingman to ‘attack my target’ (different SAM radar, he confirmes but does nothing, just stays on my wing)
- Order wingman again to ‘attack my target’ (now he does attack succesfully)
It seems after a first attack and rejoin it is always neccessary to give the ‘attack my target’ twice. Note, this has nothing to do with radar emitting or not, it always happens. Difference can be observed by wingman staying on wing instead of heading for (non-radiating) emitter.
