Solved MFD Extraction Unable to get up and running

Re: MFD extraction
I tried this download after ditching YAME. It work a treat for several months. One day while setting up my displays on my pit it just stopped working. I tried reinstalling, I tried downloading from Github, still nothing. In the tray i could see it was loaded but no displays even black squares and circles would be great. So i decided to do a complete reinstall of Windows, something i have been putting off for a year and install 4.36. All went well.
I downloaded, installed and MFDE runs but right click the sys tray icon and the options doesn’t come up so i can’t point at my BMS install.I have just BMS4.36 and MFD extraction on this PC??
Does anybody have any ideas what to try next?g_bExportRTTTextures 1

@NeilMUK have you tried the rtt tool?
-
@JUmpstart5179 I’m my case, the RRTT does not open on 4.36.
Is this function operative in this version? -
I can get MFDE to extract gauges but not the MFDs. So I use both MFDE for gauges and RTT for MFDs DED, PFL and RWR. I am using MFDE in windows 11.

@tristam299 yes it is I use it you have to set it up in the bms config but also it’s own config in it’s folder in the tools folder. You also have to run the application for it as well.

It’s a portable version so doen’t come with an installer. Just unzip and run the MFDExtractor.exe. Even no need to deinstall other MFDE version that are already installed
Just make sure that Performance tab is set correctly

@JUmpstart5179 Thank you!! I´ll check the tools folder
-
@TeeSquare @tristam299 go to your BMS install folder and go to user/config/falcon bms.cfg
and open it.Now look for the line called "set g_bExportRTTTextures 0’’ and change the 0 to 1. That should fix the MFD’s not showing. MFD export works great for everthing now and also a fast response

@Falconeer84 It worked!!!
I´m very happy with this.
Best regards -
@tristam299 Glad you got it working !
-
@Falconeer84 It will help a lot my old tired eyes.
-
@Falconeer84 RTT will display the MFDs , but MFDE will render for a while then lock up. RTT works like a charm, but it does not export the gauges like MFDE does.

After my fresh Win10 install, I used the suggested link for MFDE, downloaded and tried to install but got additional windows errors:
vcruntime140_1.dll was not found. Looking around it appears this is required to assist C++ to run. So I downloaded the latest Visual C++ Redistributable Runtime from Microsoft:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
which didn’t solve the issue. But digging further this site provided ALL Redistributable Runtimes:
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
I downloaded these Runtimes, extracted and double click the install_all.bat and installed each Runtime, now it works PERFECTLY!!! - SOLVED-Thanks for your time

@NeilMUK use the RTT tool that is included with BMS. It works much better than MFDE.
