Solved Checksums do not add up on download of falcon 4 3.6
-

@Dagg I think we need more info, before we can help.
Step 1… download the zip using torrent. Did you get a 3.62 Gb zip file, that looks like this?
Step 2… actually unzip it (don’t just try run ‘setup.exe’ from “within” the zip file … I think this is a common misstep).
Step 3… run the ‘setup.exe’ you unzipped. There will be some warnings from Windows Defender / SmartScreen, because the EXE is not digitally signed… you will have to ignore / click through those.

You may want to disable such security or utility software that is preventing you from downloading the BMS torrent. Then, once you have the files, as airtex2019 mentioned, extract the files to a folder where you can review the contents. From here, you can check and compare checksums of the file(s) to those listed on the download page.
If you are unfamiliar with manually comparing checksums, I’ve detailed a step-by-step process using Windows Powershell in the post here:
https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/17431/bms-4-34-u1-and-u2-infected/14edit: as a final note, along with a few other members here, I do host an unofficial private mirror for the BMS 4.36 installer for those who are having endless trouble with the torrent and cannot overcome them. As a last resort, you may feel free to contact me through private message here, and I will provide a temporary download link just for you to acquire these files through VG’s secure website CDN. Again, you can perform a review of checksums as detailed above, to know these are correct and safe.
