Solved #3 view

Why are there two #3 views and is there a way to disable the second view?
I’m making a macro to centre my view and pause TrackIR but in order to get the first #3 view, I need to go to the #2 view then #3 to get the view I want and while that works, the switch from #3 to #2 then back to #3 can be a little annoying/jarring. Any help? Thanks!

Can you describe the behavior of the 2 #3s? I don’t understand why or how you have two #3 (3D) views.
It might be just a case that one is zoomed in (how, I don’t know) and going from 3 -> 2 -> 3 reset the FOV?

- start up a TE, in this case the Landing TE
- default view is the first #3 view, let’s call that 3A
- press #3, this is a new view, let’s call that 3B
- there’s no way to go back to 3A from 3B, to do so, you will need to go to a different view first, say #2, the press #3 to get back to 3A
This is 3A
This is 3B

@Atlas what you describe is by design
Per section 8.4.3 (3D Cockpit [PAN]) in BMS Manual:
There are actually 2 ways to display the cockpit. The default view focuses on the HUD, a second press on 3 shifts the view down a bit to give a better view of the MFDs and ICP. You cannot toggle back to the HUD focus view though, you need to exit the 3D cockpit view and come back to it.

@Fox_15 Yep, I’ve read that bit and I’m hoping for a way to disable the second view (3B)

hardcoded…
Nothing you can do
-
@Atlas maybe, press and hold OTWGlanceForward callback ([shift+Numpad9] by default) for a couple seconds
