OUCH…!!
Lorik - weapons free.
Don’t worry, I blocked him after his misogynist and insulting posts, as I realized they were allowed here apparently :). So I don’t see what he posts, only what you quote. (and I couldn’t care less )
-
@LorikEolmin Oh…? I was unaware of that.
Well - not to worry.
It was just like some “technical points” about differences in tactics.More a comment on the “difficulty” of BMS than on you personally…!
It was not really insulting or mean or anything like that
.
You can only read what people quote from him…?

I can only echo what Aragorn said and I am always impressed by how pretty Balkans is, compared to KTO. Bit hard to follow the comms haha, but a good old “Fox Trois” can be made out along the way. Great editing and good sound balance between comms and other sounds. Some very nice formation flying by Obe1 there!

Aragorn: haha… no authority in tactics, I’m not too worried about what I’m missing.
jayb: thanks and yeah, good French deciphering

To this day , there are still some pieces of remains few F16’s in Balkan’s woods, luckily not much, but they did same mistake…
Those woods were/are dangerous.A grand total of 2 F-16s were actually shot down over Balkans (one in 1995, one in 1999). Both of them were hit by medium-range SAMs that could engage targets above 10,000 ft.
-
@LorikEolmin that is a great video I don’t understand French but I still enjoyed it very much, Balkans look amazing. @Aragorn your quote almost killed me hahaha I am glad I did not read that at work I would be in trouble.
-
@ewildcat Ok Agreed (I feel safer already with official disclosures).
BUT!!. That was not the point my mate.
Would you put your hand in fire claiming said AG attack procedure was “sane” ?Then here’s some history for you from early days, that I can remember
In translation: “Both went down!!, Both!!”
(1st due failure from AAA , 2nd … you can’t miss it…) -
@Aragorn Then… I , thereby , am insulting you with the high order of “Knight of the OVAL table”
May you be honoerd by the most beautiful daughter.…of course …with all the benefits that comes with the title,… bread, salt…

They could be both dead. , down from first agm attack , they were both below 10k … 5-6kft MSL (AGL much less, hills, woods),
… some alone SA-13/14/16 could have lucky day - eg. “Behind enemy lines” scenario. The choice was made in all conscience between :
- a “perhaps” SA13/14, etc ,
- a very certain SA10,
since the objective was inside the efficient shooting zone of this SA10.
An attack at 10 000 feet or above would have led to a certain destruction of the 2 fighters engaged in this attack.
Checking off all safety guarantees in an armed engagement is the best choice for doing nothing.
-
@Rouge1512 Sometimes is better to do nothing then committing suicide, eh? - even if mission fail … is not the end of the war.
Same as on-final/Landing - if not sure , breakoff… but nooo, I can - crash.
Been there , done that.Think it is time that BMS introduces same as “that other sim” - death of character./ revive - erase pilot log.
We’ll see how many “Lt. Colonels” we have then. You want realistic - then have it.

Hahaha… that’s what he said! I wish you weren’t losing your time, Rouge, but I fear his best ability is to read his own flooding ellipsis .

Would you be so kind and enlighten him with translation of this:- “Say Hello to my little friend”
