BMS - Other cockpits
-
in recent months I have been working on the remake of two old 3dpits (of 7 years ago:) F15E and F104. Dear friends helped me a lot:
F15E - Radium (Hud model & UFC model), JanHas (Ejection seat model), Pumpyhead 2nd pilot model.
F104 thanks to Topolo, Manos81 and WaveyDave, without their help I would not have completed the work. The result is in these screenshots (feedback are appreciated):
after working with Radium on the Cockpit of the Su35 (still to be finished) I 've started a new one… I hope for a nice surprise !
PS: F15E loadout problem it’s under solution

@qawa Hello, really nice update of these cockpits indeed!
Few years ago, there was an unfinished project of the F-14D cockpit, which the author gave the source files to the BMS team:
Have you considered this cockpit to be finished and integrated into BMS?

This post is deleted! -
@Airbuster not… I’m sorry… but the F-14D cockpit its in my “to do” list

If there is any chance for a new Typhoon cockpit, I can at least provide some support for its functional design tailored for BMS 4.36.
The F-15E shots look pretty nice. Though I value functionality over looks. Both is premium

thank you for your willingness for help me ! surely the most difficult part is to adapt our beloved F16 avionics to the other cockpits… and isn’t certainly easy … but among all the flight manuals and grafic materials that I’ve in my hands, there is also the Eurofighter … in addition to: A10, AV-8, F-4, F-5. F-14, F15, F16, F-18, F104, F111, Mig-21/25/29, Su-22/27/35 and Tornado… so as you can see my intentions are serious… time will be the only thing I’ve left to find !

@qawa I fly the F-111F ! if you need manuals, I would be happy to provide them to you !!! hanks for all your work !
-
@fjp Thank you … please… for sure send me when you want
do you remember this 2dpit from Aeyes ?!
as a bomber it was an incredible beast …but I think that in reality it was used for ECM mission … but I’m not sure…
-
@qawa Please reply with you email and I will send you the document. The F-111 had a rough start but ended up being the preeminent fighter bomber in the US inventory for some time. When the WX was bad, the F-111 was the only one able to be deployed. Operated mostly at night at low level. Carried a lot of gas (about 30,000 lbs internally) and for its time went very fast. It actually never had a speed limited but was limited by skin temperature . Eventually more capable and economical alternatives came along and the F-111 was transitioned into an ECM role with the “Raven” variant. Th most capable version (I think) was the F model and I will send you a copy of the flight manual with all the info you will need… Thanks for your initiatives.

@fjp PM sent, and thanks for to share your experience !

@qawa Now you have way too much jobs to do,
That would keep you busy for the next few years -

I’ve to say something about being absent for 7 years, and not having supported the team to fix all the issues on mine 3dpits … I apologize for that and I’m ready to fix my mistakes where 'it is possible … the passage from 32 bit to 64 bit of windows does’nt guarantee me the use of old software … however… I wanted to let you know that I am ready to fix my mistakes … so … let me know if you have any pending requests about the other 3dpits !
postedit: but it won’t be a quick fix … I’m alredy working

Hi qawa.
I have been busy for a long time and I could not follow the forum. That’s why I just saw the topic you opened and I’m very happy.
I, too, have been working for a long time to make the exterior models of the F-15E and F-15C more realistic. My eagle project (F-15E and F-15C) is not finished yet. It still has many shortcomings. I don’t have a lot of free time. I can only find time on weekends. That’s why my project is progressing very slowly.
I’m giving you a few screenshots below to give you an idea.
As a 3d model in BMS, the F-15 is a very realistic model. Very well modeled. If the cockpit and exterior paint can be improved, I think it will be a very successful aircraft that can be flown with pleasure like the F-16 and F-18.
If you further develop the F-15E and F-15C cockpits, we can bring this beautiful aircraft to the BMS community, just like the F-18 Hornet.
Good luck.
