Unsolved AGM65_L unable to Unlock Laser code on WPN page
-
A huge THANK YOU to all of the BMS team for all your work on the update.
I have been flying in KTO with the new 4.36.1, and when using Mavs-AGM-L model, I would sometimes change the WPN laser code from the default 1688, to match a new TGT code inputed on the DED/Laser page. Just for practice! This worked with Ver 4.36. In the new 4.36.1 I cannot get the ‘L’ to switch to a ‘U’ on the WPN page with a TMS-up. I read the manual and Dash 34, but nothing new is posted.
How I use to do this was:
- At Wpn page…OSB-2…select Bore
- Move the “X” with the radar cursor and set it over the “L”. Now the cursor will only move if I TMS-up in ver 4.36.1
- TMS- up and the “L” would change to a “U”. In vers 4.36.1 this does not occur.
- Then I could change the laser code to example 1512 by using the OSB-7 on the MFD. Now all you can do is cycle though the 1688 default code.
- Once satisfied with a code that matches the DED laser page I would TMS-up to get back to the “L” locked code.
- Then I would continue my flight with the Power OFF on the MAV-Ls until close to the IP.
- AG- mode…find the TGT…TGT pod on…Master Arm ON…Laser ON… TMS-UP on the target…Laser range…when in range and in keyhole look for the solid square on the WPN page. This worked very well in 4.36
I like the new version 4.36.1 that a “S” shows up on the WPN page to remind me to uncage the Mav.
For now I am OK with just always using the default 1688 code.
ALSO, this could just be me NOT doing something correctly and there is nothing wrong with the program
THANKS AGAIN for a great BMS 4.36. And thanks goes out to the other pilots in this forum that gives me help and advice when I need it.
Check SIX!

@MaxWaldorf
Hello MaxWaldorf.I just read this post. I tried changing the code on the WPN page in a camp mission in vers U3 with the AGM65-L.
Still does not work.
For me not a big issue, I just use the 1688 default code.

@huffer2 might find the following thread illuminating on the topic.

@Fish44
I checked that post out. I had no problems with 4.36 when it came out. The issue with unable to unlock the laser code, that came up in the U1. It still does not work in U3. I just keep using the 1688 code.But thanks for your response.
