Solved Download incremental patches 4.36
-
Hi all
I try to download 3 incremental patches for 4.36.0 but the magnet link only downloads 4.36.3 full setup.zip
Sorry if it is an user error but I am many months out of BMS, just returning
Regards

Better to start over your install…
We launched a new installer for that purpose.
Cheers

Thank you, I will delete BMS 4.36.0 and I will install 4.36.3 full installer
What archives can I backup from 4.36.0? Logbook, Config…?
Regards!

I would suggest you use the “Setup.exe” file in your x:\Falcon BMS 4.36 Setup folder to uninstall BMS to do a clean removal. Also remember to uninstall Balkans (before uninstalling BMS) via the Add/Remove Programs if installed also… At that point you can delete that Setup folder as you no longer need it, and install away!

OK, it is done now, 4.36.U3 is installed
But before I made a copy of the oldConfig folder. What archives can I restore from there? Logbook, Hotas?

Regards! If you were already running 4.36.x I would assume all are compatible, but I just copy my pilot.lbk, PhoneBkn.ini, pilot.ini over… If using Alt Launcher all the “Setup.v100.xxxxx” files also.

Forgive my ignorance, what is the diff between legacy and new (full) install… this with fw opening ports etc.?
Thank you.
(btw, this might be misleading a bit)
