Sluggish cursor when using hat or buttons
-
Currently the way the cursor behaves when using a hat or buttons to move it is it accelerates from zero to full speed. IMHO, this makes it feel sluggish and unresponsive.
If its starting speed was 1/4 or 1/2 of full speed instead, it would give immediate feedback, while still being slow enough to enable small movements.

@Huesudo I agree with this. Also it occasionally latches into motion just takes off which can be frustrating when trying to refine its position. Is there a way to change the starting slew speed and to disable the latching motion?

@Huesudo you can change the cursor speed on the config file I have it at 50% and it’s working great.

@danaos75 indeed you can change the cursor speed in the config, but that’s the final full speed. I’d like to change the initial speed.

@Huesudo maybe this will help https://forum.falcon-bms.com/post/363021

That looks interesting. I’ll give it a try!
p.s. I also have to see why I’m not getting email notifications about post replies.

That looked promising, but sadly it only affects the behavior of the cursor when controlled by an analog axis.
