PS3Eye Head Tracking

Hi. There is a great YouTube video on this by someone else, but providing some information to augment it.
After removing the four rubber screw covers and the screws on the back, the two halves of the PS3Eye are held together by three clips inside. You must apply significant force to break them if you can’t manage to locate and unclip them from the outside. This pic might help you to locate them:
If you do break them that is no problem because the four screws hold the back on ok themselves.
The IR filter that has to be removed is a small lens held in place by a ring of black plastic around it. I found it easy to cut it away with a scalpel and wouldn’t recommend the melting method shown in one video.
If you are having problems reconnecting the base, the base slides into a slot before being held in with the two screws.
