Unsolved Threat Volume setting resets during flight
-
On startup I always set the Threat volume to the lowest setting (without being off) to save my ears from RWR chirps until I get in the air.
I notice that it repeatedly resets itself to a louder volume. The only “fix” is to keep messing with the knob.
Anyone else experienced this?

@jstnj does it happen after returning from external view? I think there is/was some longstanding bug about that, but can’t remember
-
Also if it’s set to an analog axis, I’ve the opposite happen where they are on lowest volume until I use that device (Saitek AV8R converted into a switch box), and they will then go there I have them which is usually at max. Maybe if you do have it on an analog at minimum, you are experiencing what I do in reverse.

@airtex2019 I’ll test that
@Snake122 No analog axis

Confirmed that I can reproduce this problem 100% of the time by switching to external view and back into cockpit.

I have the same problem, but with all the volumes, when you switch from internal to external and back to internal view all the volumes reset to the max. I had this bug since a long time.

Yeah I only modify the threat volume so I wouldn’t doubt that it also affects other volume settings.
I also had this in 4.36, I believe.

is there somewhere formal I should log this?

I think you just did.
