[Bug report] 2 bugs found!
-
Hello DEV team, I’ve locate 2 bugs that can be reproduced, hope U can fix it in the next patch.
BUG1
When in ripper launch mode of the AGM-65, the “C” symbol on WPN/TGP page that represent the complete of TGP handoff will go wrong when U step your missile. SEE PICs belowPIC1 normal handoff success on STA4, “C” is showned
PIC2 step to STA6,handoff success, “C” on STA6 is correct ,but “C” on STA 4 lost
continued step missile, “C” incorrectly showed
step back to STA4, finally, both “C” show correctly on both STA4 and STA6
HUD pic, actually both missile are tracking their targets.
BUG2
After T/O, enter AG master mode, if U use FCR move SPI and track something with FTT BEFORE U turn your TGP from STBY to AG, your TGP will always point to the STPT NOT the SPI, and TMS down will not able to command TGP to slave back SPI.
This can only be solved when you switch back to FCR,unlock FTT, and then the TGP will slave back to SPI
see pic below.

Good catch, I’ll confirm on my end

BUG 1 happens only when all 4 stations are loaded.

Hi, as for bug #1:
When you load Mavericks on stations 3, 4, 6, 7 then let’s say you start with station 3, then (Follow me):
At start:
Current 3 –> lock it and “C” appears. Next is 7 unlocked --> No “C”
MSL STEP
Current 7 --> lock it and “C” appears. next is 4 unlocked --> No “C”
MSL STEP
Current 4 --> Lock it and “C” appears. Next is 6 unlocked --> No “C”
MSL STEP
Current 6 --> Lock it and “C” appears. Next is 3 locked already so you see another “C”
MSL STEP forever
Everywhere “C” will appear as all missiles are locked up…I don’t see a bug here, just the system behavior as designed
HUD cues will also confirm that missile is locked/unlocked as described above.
When you MSL-STEP with Mavericks, better think what is your “Next” station, that might be tricky sometimes

For bug #2, actaully it happens only if you put the SOI on the TGP, if you switch SOI back to FCR then the TGP will align with the SPI position.
But anyway, there is some bug here as the TGP is acting a bit weird when the FCR is the SPI (tracking) but the TGP is slewed, for example if you make TGP SOI at such a state and press “CZ” then the TGP will move to the STPT position and not the SPI position, that is a bug. I will have a look at it. Thanx!

Hi I-Hawk, I repeat the BUG 1 on the Block52 and the four station “3 4 6 7” goes at this step secquence “4>6>7>3>4”.
So the first tracking missile is on STA4 as the “C” is showned.
MSL STEP
Current 6 –>at this point the “C” on STA4 has already lost which it shouldn’t and the missile on STA4 is still tracking.
hand off on STA6 , “C” appears on STA6.
At this moment actully “2” missiles are in tracking mode (STA4 and 6) , but only 1 "C"will be displayed.
But this is only one example, in other cases the “C” may jump randomly, even onto some NONE TRACKING station.
Anyway, the game is awesome, thx for your hard work, hope it getting better and better.

Hi, please try to read again my post…
The sequence doesn’t matter actually. What matters is:
When you have 2 or more missiles that are loaded then the #2 missile will ALWAYS be the next missile on the MSL-STEP chain.
So you see the logic now?
When you are on station 4 then the #2 missile is station 6, when you are on 6 then the next is 3, when on 3 then the next is 7, when on 7 the next is 4 etc etc…With 2 missiles it’s always correct, you lock 3 then lock 7 and you get “C” on every side, with 4 missiles it’s tricky, you need to lock 3, then MSL-STEP and lock 7, then MSL-STEP until you are back to 3 and then you will see “C” at both stations. Why this way? because the #2 is always the next missile that will be fired, and when you have on all 4 stations then it gets a bit messy.
The “C” indication is correct, you can see it by following my explanations or locking all 4 stations and watch how “C” appears all the time no matter which station is current.
