TE Questions

Q1: What is the best way (assuming there is more than one) to move between flights when planning a TE. For example to move between my SEAD flight plan to my Tanker flight plan. The only way I’ve found is to go into the ATO and select the specific flight to have its flight plan drawn on the map.
Q2: What does the Join option do?
Q3: How can I get the post mission debrief of the TEs success, targets destroyed, etc. If my flight ends and I exit back to the map I may still have AWACs or other flights that have not completed. I’ve sped up the clock until there are no other flights showing but no summary page appears.
Q4: Haven’t installed WDP yet. The README file specifies it needs .NET3.5 framework - if my PC has a later version of .NET is the 3.5 framework included?
Thanks

You can click on one plane icon and the flight paths appear where you can click on one steerpoint to recieve the flight plan window.

Set victory conditions on an objective, and under the Victory Conditions page set points for it. That should enable the debrief screen to pop up at mission end.

Hi.
IIRC you have to fly a mission with a specific task to get a debrief… if your flight has been built as “Traning” task, you won’t get a debrief.
Possibly that settings Engagement/Sortie may be also a reason!(?)
Victory conditions will not bring you the debrief page. -
Victory conditions will not bring you the debrief page.
They always do for me
The Mavericks and LGBs training TEs are set with specific tasks (CAS and Deep Strike) but have no Victory Conditions, and they also do not have a debrief screen.

Ok mate… I will have a look asap to see why I thought about this wrong answer I gave you. Too much Btest under the same conditions
Thank you to correcting me then! -
Speaking of Victory Conditions, do you know how the Attrit/Degrade percentages work? If it’s set at 100% does that mean that the target has to be completely destroyed?
-
IMO yes.

AWACS, SEAD Escort, SEAD, and Strike packages in TE. In 2D screen, start the clock to test. All flights show except AWACS. Restart TE, jump in AWACS E-3 and take off. Why no AWACS showing in 2D screen?
-
Same TE, start the clock, air packages begin to show on 2D screen. Go to ATO, select a flt in strike or escort pkg; select JOIN tab… nothing happens. Any comments or suggestions… Thx, Getsno

Yes. (I agree with Dee-Jay).

So is it possible to get feedback from the training missions as a detailed debrief like the ones you get in cam-PAINs? That After Action Review would be nice without needing to wait for my system to load the AVTR file. I find the debrief.txt file to be unimaginative and dull to read (BMS 4.32/Users/Briefings), and if you don’t set the output to .txt file from the config portion of the launcher you won’t record anything. Is it possible to have the debrief in the TE section post flight? I’ve also tried the stock install “saved” missions - not the training missions - and they end as if I never clicked FLY. Was I a success? Did time advance even? How do you make progress through the saved missions, is it by being the couch commander?
