FAP skin
-
For anyone who’s interested, here’s another Viper skin for the FAP, based on the A-7 Corsair and Fiat camouflages used some years ago.
I included the .dds files and also the .pdn files, so you can edit them any way you like.
Update:

Final version with painted pylons and external tanks:
Credit goes to JanHas for making available his great texture packs and allow everyone to use them for development purposes.

I love it! Great Job mate!

Nice work there, Bravo.

i can’t resist : Fap ! Fap ! Fap! –> i know where the exit is.

Nice work mate

Bravo! And thanks a lot for sharing.

Update on the skin on the first post.
Included some pattern work on the lower fuselage.
Again, the .pdn files allow you to edit some aspects of the skin layers, so feel free to change whatever you want to change.
Hope you enjoy.
Edit: just found out that this pattern (or something identical) actually still exists on PoAF Vipers

Yep, probably that photo was altered with photoshop or something. I found it on the net, so…

@ Tommygun:
You can change whichever skin you want. Just have to change the .dds numbers accordingly. By default, its using the skin used in instant flight.

Nuno - Many thanks for the piece of advice, much appreciated, mate, unfortunately I have no idea how the dds file numbers are assigned to specific F-16 skins. In general, I know VERY little about how different data for this sim are coded, don’t know anything about the LOD editor etc. All I can do is install stuff using the readme or thread-contained instructions

See post #13, if you want this skin in other blocks just say and we help you.

Fracapelo - yes, actually I could use the skin for, say, Block 40, as the basic 52 I have already replaced with the Polish Air Force skin and as for the 50 - I have installed some nice aggressor skins. So, Block 40 is now the next one to be modified in one way or another…
