Skin help
-
Are there any tutorials on skinning? I would like to take that on, but I have no idea how to do it. I have Photoshop and I know how to open dds files in Photoshop, but I do not know how to use Photoshop to remove lettering etc and repaint the skins or what to do next. Any help or links would be appreciated. Also knowing how to create them from scratch would be great too.

I have seen your PM Icarus, sorry for the late answer.
I’ll answer here, it may be useful to othersFirst you need to know how to use photoshop or any program alike to modify DDS and even better make layered PSDs
Here is a selection of tuturials that helped me when i started:
General painting stuff:

General photoshop stuff:

but remember, the best chance of success is to be happy with what you do
Good luck mate -

I didn’t want opening new topic for this question. I hope not problem.
So , The BMS will support the bump , opacy, displacement and other mapping technics in the near future update?
Because the bump map could be very usefull in the panel lines and rivets or bombs body . It could be more realistic look and shouldn’t make additional polygon on the 3d model.Or shader base material support on 3d model? To the differend qualities materials should seem diffenrent like rubber, chrome and shiny paint or matt.
