Do we need permision to coment a post??? Oh my!
At 200kts or worse 500, you will not be able to see any diference in a window or a door…
-
@ Arty: I am not the kind of man who jokes. And I don’t like you comment my posts without permission.
dema
And I don’t like that kind of remark in public. In case of problem or if clarification is needed … Use PM
Note also that Arty said nothing wrong against you … so it sounds a very inappropriate and unjustified comment.
Next time … It will be a full deletion of posts without any prior notification.

Dema - What’s wrong with the windows and doors? It’s a factory… they don’t have a lot of windows and doors.
I think it looks great Radium.
-
Awesome, thanks Radium!
-
Much more textures resolutions: what kind of problem could be?
Exactly what BANISTA implied : performance hit.
This is what a factory look like IRL, anyway. No sense putting windows where there’s not.
-
@dema Forum rules iirc don’t prevent comments on posts. If u don’t like it ok I will do my best to keep them to minimum. I assure u there was no negative nor bad intention from my comment to your face. Sorry if in any way I offended u.
In general Radiums model looks perfect and I thought u just wanted to tease him.
About the 80 years probably u mean from the 80’s era. Well I don’t see characteristics from that era I would say looks nowadays 100% but this is subjective.

More detail more detail Some of use have proper rigs and only wish to see a drop in FPS as that means we are using our computers to the limit For the rest, they can always drop the detail in graphics options
(awaits backlash)
-
I smile… cause I’m reading many comments about fps drops with high resolution textures in a 70 triangles lod.
But for the rest I told my judge. I don’t like that textures, not the windows or doors numbers.
Have a nice weekend.

I cannot believe what I am reading.
I feel somehow, somewhere between deception, sadness more than anger.
While critics are much more than welcomed, I also appreciate them to be as much clear as possible, as I always do my best to please my readers or, at least, considering their remarks and applying them if relevant.
My windows might not be perfect, but I also expect some dozens of building like this one to be done my very own hands. so, I will have time to adjust myself to potential critics. have absolutely no problem to make an update with the community desires when it’s needed.
When my BMS close friends such as Amraam, Dee-Jay, Chuck or Crusader always bring critics with diplomacy and kindness, they also bring several dozens of documents to help me to find the good path, what the critics initiator hasn’t brought yet.
Anyway.
I wonder I should go on posting something there to please the community.

Forget about it Radium and thanks for your awesome work
-
Oh Radium let em say… What do they know? They r just customers afterall.
U r correct on what u say. Well diplomacy not always necessary but positive constructive commenting is the way. Also in such matters there is and the creators preference and ease of building it, like poets license. Finally when u r freely handed of something better u have to be happy with it.
Damn I’m on a positive time phase this period…

You do not see the point. If you replace all building LODs which currently have shit textures and even LOD1 is 20 poly or less and you will get FPS drop. The goal is provide better general environment while you consider the limitation of Falcon. Just check how serious FPS drop you get near Kimpo if you allow shadows…
The model of Radium 100% fits in Falcon universe.

I know molni. I know.
I am a customer.
I am free to edit what I don’t like as the past present and in the future. -
Well, for those who are interested, I’ve completed this, tonight.
This is a generic North Korean building.
I cannot read Korean so much, but it’s written : 선군정치, which means, if I am right, “militarist North Korean policy”, or, Songun Policy.
It was made from real pictures I have from North Korea.
Cheers,
Radium

Great work Radium, the apartment building looks perfect. The texture quality of the exterior walls is almost ‘lifelike.’ I know you are very busy, but could you do some hangars with texture quality like your building. Our airbase strctures, both ROK and DPRK, could use some upgrading.
-
I think these kind of additions are wht is needed for Falcon. A lot of the stock database comes from the Microprose era, and refreshed buildings, taxiways, tiles, ground units, damaged/destroyed LODs for buildings & ground units… are IMO probably the best way to improve the sim.
Not as glamorous as your favorite aircraft/pit, obviously, but this is where people who want to help can make a real difference for everybody.
That being said, I am still eager to see a Rafale model
And to stay on topic : as I told you already, Radium, awesome work.
-
I see that BMS’s Dee-Jay is pleased, and that’s always an encouraging sign.
And of course, the forum visitors (except for one– lolol) love the low-poly good-quality graphics-- including me!!!
Keep up the good work!
-
Great work Radium! Thanks!
-
Yeah!!! Great work Radium

Good stuff!!!
