Sound pack and pit mod
-
Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me.
Ive been playing Balkans 1.1.5 SA version, and Iβve fallen in love with the sound (the base ABβs) and the pit. Ive managed to find a pit mod, but, where can I get that sound pack? or can I maybe just copy some files from one theatre to another?
want it, need it, must have it, cant stand playing any other theatre without that F-16 engine sound

Just copy the Balkans sound folder and save it. Then put it anywhere there is a sound folder like the one in the Data folder (the stock one). I have my own custom sound folder and I replace them all with it.

Skiba are your Sounds from the BoB Version or the V3.0 - Sry for this Stupid Question but I havent any Idea of the BoB Versions
Have my own Sounds too, as well as own created more realistic VHF-Disortion Which is not seperated from UHF sadly, but maybe we will get different soundfiles for V and U in the next BMS-Version. For Example ivc_noise_uhf & ivc_noise_vhf

Thank you Icarus, that did the trick. easy when you know how (and when you got the courage to mess with file structure).
Korbi, no its the 1.1.5, the Balkans theatre made by Falcon Online, force on force. The v3 one doesnβt agree with me, and keeps freezing up.
While I have peopleβs attention, are there any high res cockpits out there proven to work? I know everyone is on a drive to maximise FPS, but I got plenty of them.

Thanks Skiba;) Its no to hard to understand the basic File Structure of a Game - As it looks different from Title to Title is always the Same: Some Sounds here, some Textures there and Config everywhere

A word of caution. Sound files and pit tiles are easy enough to install and adjust, however playing around with files can hork your install. Especially if you mess with LOD editor or TacEdit. If your a noob and playing with these files, you can hork the install and have to re-install everything. Just be careful to back up your files before modding them.
