Are the axis set up and working in BMS SetUp >Controllers >Advanced >Avionics Control?
-
No, I can only select keyboard or mouse wheel in the avionics control settings. I can’t get it to show the same options as in the PDF supplied with Duncs profile.
-
Do the axis work in the Cougar Control Panel?
-
Axis work fine in CCP.
Finally got it figured out, had to swap the axis in the CCP. Microstick X is now in column 6 and Microstick Y column 8, in the avionics setup Cursor X had to be setup to Cougar right toe brake & Cursor Y set up to Cougar Rudder. Radar cursors now slaving from microstick correctly.
Thanks for reply

Something strange going on here, logged in today and now radar cursors are not working again. No settings have changed and the axis are working in CCP?
Doing my head in now

Thanks again for your help

Just one other point. I can’t see a mapping on the stick for chaff/flare and have also looked through the keyboard layout and can’t see it there either. Anybody knows what key press fires off the selected EWS program?
-
Should be CMS left, right up, down. With Dunc’s there is no keystroke mapped, it is mapped in Foxy as DX. Try it in the game.

Sorted thx again
feel so noob again

I have the same problem.
I´m very noob with the Cougar. I´ll try the Dunc profilesCheers

hey sometimes when I change stick files in ccp say from dcs to bms with enable windoz axis checked it really messes up my cougar. sometime to the point of reinstall software and or reflash any ideas. kinda makes leary about flying bms more. this has happened on more than one pc and more than one cougar

I have question on the keystrokes. How do you zoom the target pod with his profile? I thought I found that it was Shift F11 and 12 respectively, but those weren’t it. Not a show stopper by any means, but it does come in handy. Especially in TV mode.
-
Transition from wide to narrow field of view with S3 (Pinky button).
Zoom in/out with the Range knob.

Oh ok, many thanks.

Take a look here https://www.sendspace.com/file/p7bhn3
It is Sparta_DX.Key for Hotas Cougar. Sparta_DX.keys contain 3 files to be used depending on your hardware controllers
1α) sparta_DX_NR_NT.key 2α) sparta_DX_NR_Τ 3α) sparta_DX_R_T
Choose best suitable for you
