J Stars

I don’t recall ever seeing a j stars in a campaign sortie
I made a short Te and it was there I was wondering if you are able to communicate with it
Probley a dumb question but I need to ask it
Thanks

The main way to communicate with it, per se, is to declare a locked ground target. The main difference being that ground targets only come back with two calls. Friendly or bogey. A locked ground target that declares as a bogey IS an enemy target. A locked air target that declares bogey is an unknown target.

Yeah,
That needs to change at some point. Also you can request a vector to the enemy ground forces as well. All call backs, whether they are air or ground, should respond to as “contact”. Only after they have been identified as “hostile” should you attack that target. I have noticed that even air units, as soon as they are newly airborne are declared “hostile”. I know that they are taking off from an enemy airbase, but it should be less of a “God’s eye” and need further interogate before declaring a “hostile”. Especially if friendly air assets are in the vicinity. They could be doing low altitude bombing runs as a Mig takes off for example. JSTARS also needs to be more closely associated with ground troop spotter/designators. Also I would like to see JSTARS have a separate comm list. Just stuff that would need to be added/adjusted in the future IMO.
