Where is the Falcon 4.0 exe
-
Point into the main root folder of Falcon4.
Is it Falcon 4.0 “original” or Falcon 4.0 Allied Force?

OK, I have the original CD installed on my system. Not very Computer savvy. How do I point BMS to the Falcon exe???

Hi
Why you need to install the original Falcon 4.0 in the first place?
Once the BMS setup starts it will ask u to show the original F4 CD (infact the original exe), once you do that’s it with the original F4. -

Easiest thing to do is ‘browse’/‘explore’ the CD and copy the exe (falcon4.exe) to a known location …. for instance, on your desktop; mine is in my BMS Setup folder. Then, when prompted during install, ‘browse’ to that location.
Alternatively, if you have the CD loaded, when prompted you can ‘browse’ to the CD drive (D:\ or E:, maybe?) and the installer should ‘see’ the Falcon exe.
Edit:
As i-Hawk indicates, you do NOT need to install Falcon4 … you just have to ‘show’ the installer that you have it.

OK, I have put Falcon4 exe (5075kb) and BMS4.32 Setup(which has Setup (2509kb), Data folder, UnRaR.dll (150kb) all in the same folder and clicked on Setup and a dialog box comes up saying, (The Registry entry points to a Folder that does not contain a valid BMS4.32 install. Go to HKLM (Software\Benchmarksims\Falcon BMS4.32) to be able to install the product again. This is getting frustrating to me that this program will not install. By the way I’m using Windows 7 Professional. Please tell me why this will not install.
Thanks, Jester. -

Win 7 pro works fine here.
I would not copy originally Falcon4.exe into Data folder, … put it elsewhere or create a subfolder for it.
Uninstall previous BMS install and clean BMS related registry entries.
Then follow this install procedure, (… supplemented with U5-U7)
