Sporadic graphical glitches as if switching channels on an old TV
-
Can’t describe it better than the title.
I got my new GTX 1080 on the weekend and wanted to try some BMS today.
It’s not often, maybe once every minute, sometimes several times in a row, but still it’s gets annoying.
I only experience this in BMS 4.33 U1.DCS, Cliffs of Dover or Witcher 3 (the other games I’ve been testing the new GPU with) don’t create these issues.

press Alt + C - realase both and then press F
Whats your Fps upper left corner.
I have no proven concept, but I would try UNCHECKING V-sync in UI and Triple buffering in the configurator. See what it does.
Good Luck and gratz on the 1080!

Gladly I will!
What sort of benchmark would you want me to run?
Just instant action flying/moving mud, flying straight? -

Could there be a “power saving” feature being triggered ?
New card new drivers, might have something to do with the problem.
If you were interested, you could use MSIs Afterburner to monitor the GPU load under Falcon. Much easier if you have a second screen.

With my GTX 1080, running 3 24" screens @ 5760 x 1080. I average 100+ fps with everything maxed in BMS. This is doing instant action at low level over land. Over the ocean with no land, was over 150+ fps. This was done in 4.33 basic. Not update 1.
The new Doom @ 5760 x 1080 averaged 85ish fps on Ultra detail. My SLI’d 770’s couldn’t handle that resolution on medium detail (Give you an idea of the power of a single 1080). Every game I have tried I’ve had zero issues with and play in the ultra detail if the game has it. So far, I’m very pleased with this card for the money.
If you have the 7 series or lower single or SLI’d card and want to know if it’s a good upgrade. I can tell you that a single GTX 1080 will handle your needs at resolutions of 5760 x 1080 or lower with ease. If you can afford it, I recommend it.

I have a attached a file with an fps graph.
It corresponds to this video:
My system specs are in the discription of the video.
This should give you a rough idea of the GTX 1080 performance in BMS.
-
What are you using as video capture?
Just wondering as FRAPs seems to cause about a 10FPS hit.
-
Maybe GTX 1080 and not 180?

I’m using shadow play.
I can’t confirm the fps hit.
If so, then just add 5-10 fps to all the values.
Basically, the 1080 eats the BMS engine for breakfast at 1440p, I dare say at 4K as well. -
The graphical glitches persist, though only online, when my flight lead requests an AWACS picture, it seems.
Very weird. I’ll keep you posted.Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

So the graphical issues seem to be a widespread problem.
Luckily, the internet has given some help.Below is a solution to the problem(Youtube video shows what I’ve been experiencing).
