Display co-ordinates etc in 4.33U1
-
Keystroke ALT+C:L used to show co-ordinates, etc. but this of course is now Load Cockpit Defaults. Does anyone know how to display this “debug” info now?
TIA

Okay, put it another way…
The callback “SimCycleDebugLabels” is not in the 4.33U1 FULL keyfile. Is it no longer valid? Is there a replacement callback?

debug are not meant to be in public versions, they were removed.
but i think you can reactivate them from the configif not, then the ded list 6 gives you coordinates (but not complete to the second) and OFLY markpoints give full coordinates

I believe he wants the X Y coordinates for falcon theater editors like where to place the objective or which tile it is. Not falcon geo coordinates.

mission commander then

@Red:
mission commander then
:lol: you fly… you spot a problematic area. you want to know where it is XY wise so to go fix it. In 4.32 with the key combination you could do this easily, also was good as beta testers could also use it and report to theater devs besides just a plain screenshot and having the dev loose time to spot the exact area.

then as i said, reactivate debug from the config options
see bms manual appendix to see how to do that !! -

Probably should have came back on this… despite setting the .cfg line to 1 and copying the keyfile callback into my 4.33U1 keyfile, reassigning as I wanted beforehand, the entry doesn’t show on the list and the key combo (SHF CTRL ALT D) doesn’t work, so I guess the debug info really isn’t available in U1 after all. Shame, as it was useful for finding tiling errors, etc. Any chance us plebs can have it enabled again?

I’m sure u checked Malc but just in case, are u sure that the callback u set doesn’t already exist?

Yes mate, several times. I’m going to reinstall 4.32 for working on tiling.
