Very minor bug in directX, maybe?

i notice that if i start, exit, start, exit, etc several times, after a while on the game loading screen (the one after the 2nd takeoff) when its supposed to show a front view of an F16 and the 5 block count bar thing, sometimes i get a black screen there.
the game continues when it’s loaded and everything is fine. only the flightdata shared memory is not available.
i realize this bothers almost no one but me, but i thought i’d mention it.
BTW, an easy fix is to kill the Desktop Window Manager which is a very quick operation, and the fresh window manager doesn’t have the problem, but then the problem comes back after 3-4 restarts
maybe its just my computer too

Also sometimes after a few missions without restarting Falcon, at the end of the mission I have a black screen, but hear the controls when you hover over any button.
I guess this is also the reason why Falcon Online wants you to restart the game after each mission -
Conventional wisdom is to quit to desktop and restart after a mission …. especially multi-player.

i’ve noticed in the last couple of days, first BMS or the morning, i get the black screen when loading game and then i do not get the flight data shared memory access.
i have a button on my app to restart dwm.exe and BMS so i can fix it easy enough but i think there is something subtle wrong with the way BMS is initializing direct X
UPDATE:
it seems i can load flightdata shared memory ok, even with the black startup screen. the proble is with texture memory for the MFDs
when i do this
texturesSharedMemoryAreaObject = OpenFileMapping(SECTION_MAP_READ, false, “FalconTexturesSharedMemoryArea”);i get NULL and GetLastError(); returns 2 =
ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND The system cannot find the file specified.
