X-52 "sticky" keys
-
Hi all,
I am having an issue I never had before with BMS. So far two commands stick when I assign them to buttons on my X52. The radar slew will continue to slew out of control in whatever direction I put my hat switch to. Further the gun when I pull the trigger will not release. When I use the assigned keyboard functions directly on the keyboard they work as designed but will “stick” and not release when I use them on the flight stick. Any suggestions?

Stop using SST to program commands available directly in the game.
Put your cursor slewing on an axis and use SimTriggerSecondDetent mapped directly to the trigger as the ‘guns’ command. that’s best practice.
If can’t give up having the cursor slew as keypress commands, at least be sure they are single keys, no ALT/SHFT/CTRL modifier. However, this has been a big issue the past year or so; happening to lots of people with no clear reason or solution. I am convinced there is a driver or compatibility issue with the Saitek software.
If you’re not using SST, set the deadzone to ‘large’ on the x/y cursor slew in the BMS Setup.

I was able to get this to work through making advanced commands, long story short my slew works and im back in the seat!
