Direct x and keypresses assistance required

Once you’ve assigned a function to a direct x call on your controller, can you kill the keypress in the kist by changing the key reference to 0XFFFFFFFF in your .key file without it affecting the direct x call?

yup.
You can add the directX calls manually if you know what the callbacks are, without them first existing in a keyboard reference first.
