TIR giving me a bad neck
-
Hi guys,
I think my curves are way off. I thought I had them set nicely, but I’ve just come out of a furball against an F16 and my neck is really stiff and saw Any tips on how to make it less painful? Do you recommend exponential curves maybe?

If these are your first hours in TIR, then it is normal. You’ll discover that after some hours your brain is auto-teached not to “think” of having to drive a neck.
Same applies for the Force Sensor Sticks…

It’s my first few hours since getting back into sims, but have hundreds of hours over the years. Sadly I’m just getting older and having muscle problems in my neck and back make it worse. Raptor, may I ask to take a look at your TIR profile if it’s not too much trouble?

Cheers, I’ll give it a go!

If you think the TIR is rough on the neck you should try a Oculus Rift (Sadly not usable with BMS for now… Fingers crossed!) I think real fighter pilots must have some serious neck pains!

Joe says, try this…

Haha I have to admit I laughed a little bit at this thread. Yes, pretty much all.

Been using OR in Warthunder and DCS, and always had a hard time trying to check my six with a side stick in my hand.
