Uber2NXT Mod Hall sensor issue..
-
Hey Guys,
I have a uber2nxt modded cougar and I thought one of the hall sensors went bad. so I had an idea that I have an extra hall sensor in my throttle to try out… So I took out the hall sensor in the throttle and put it in the stick.
Now I thought it would just switch right out and work but it did not… I took out the sensor and went to calibrate it and when I move the hall sensor without using the stick it does not seem to move the numbers much.
So to see where the numbers should be I pretended to calibrate the Y axis and then did the X axis it had a much higher range… Now I know for a fact the Hall sensor I just took out did work on the throttle but it is not working on the stick…
I checked the wirring and it was the same as was on the original hall sensor in the stick… I was wondering if maybe it was wired wrong or something as I can not see what would make it not work properly… I double checked and it seems something must be wrong with the wiring or it is the connector gone bad, that could be it but was wondering what you guys thought??

Well I checked the wiring it looks like it is wired right and this is a 2nd connector so I don’t think that is the issue…
I don’t understand why it will not go through the full range when calibrating… Even when I took the sensor off and tried rotating it does not cycle through the full range like the X axis does…
I also ruled out a bad USB cable and the PCB as I used one out of my other stick…
I would appreciate any expert advice on these Hall Sensors Please I would like to get this too work…

Well looking at it again I suddenly remembered reading about the hall sensors and being configured… I then realized the 1 sensor was wired the same way as the other and needed to be the opposite to create the circuit or similar…
Well I wired the sensor and put it back together and voila it worked like a charm… now do I keep it or sell it…
