X-52 non pro SST program problem
-
Go to hotkeys in teamspeak that you’re using, and select kbd & mouse only.
-
Im not using teamspeak…
-
What key is it? Is it the mode switch?
-
its all the keys, no matter wich input i program in the software it repeat it non stop… lets say the fire button, i put the key R in it… i press once and it will repeat it 7-8 time
it even sometimes get stuck for some reason and will keep repeating it until i press again on the button
-
I’ve only used the profiling software for the X65, but…
There’s an alternative way to create keybindings, called ‘advanced’ or something. You can put keypress in the first box, and put key depress in the third box. This way, they won’t repeat anymore.
Agree 100% that their profiling software does a great job at annoying the user.
-
I already tried to macro it with a push and release and even with that, it keeps repeating it

having a similar issue. using x52. all commands that are time sensitive appear to be being incorrectly recognized as being pressed longer than they are. example: TMS-right, i can switch between RWS and TWS just fine. the problem comes when i wish to switch between bugged targets, the stick keeps registering as a long press. end result is i keep switching between modes when i want to switch targets. its annoying.
i just did a fresh install and wasn’t smart enough to save my custom directx setup. the problem has resurfaced. have long since forgot how to do directx.
any insight into saitek programming issue, or a point in the right direction for beginners directx setup would be appreciated.

I also ran into similar problem with my X65F. I’ve programmed mode switch to act as DGFT/MRM switch on F-16’s throttle (mode 2 - d, mode 3 - c, mode 4 - m). Sometimes it works with no problems, but quite often in all those positions of mode switch it just keeps repeating assigned letter infinitely. No such assignments are repeated with other buttons in my profile. I’ve tried different programming for these functions of mode switch - making it macro, putting same key into release window, etc. I also uninstalled/installed software several times. Nothing seems to help. Strange that it happens not all the time, but only sometimes.
I’m on Win 7, 64 bit, Saitek software version 7.0.27.13, drivers 7.0.4.14.
I just ran out of ideas and looking for some help here. -
Mode Switch can’t be programmed like that. For what I’ve read, you have to deactivate the mode function so that you can use it like that. It’s a shame.
-
But I have read in several threads that it is possible with X65F.

IIRC, the best I could do reliably with modes on was to use the mode switch for DF/MRM Cancel and still work as a mode switch (anytime you changed modes, it would cancel DF).
I do use it as a DF/MRM/Cancel switch in my current profile, but Modes are dis-abled and almost all the HOTAS commands are DX.
(Edit, X52 that is …. title says X52, but now I think the question is X65 …? )

You are right. It’s better to start new thread.
-
Deactivating modes entirely leads to unable to save/load profile. Saitek support responds with form letter.
Recommend bind mode switch to something like alt+shift+ctrl+f1-4, doesn’t collide with apps and works.

Regarding the original problem in this thread, when using Saitek’s programming software, I’ve found through trial and error to quickly press and release the keystrokes you want to enter.
