First attempt with FRAPS (thanks so much to Krause)

Hi guys y leave here my first Fraps video. Its from a sweep mission in Korea with my squadron (111). (Sweep Caroline Mission) We achieved 20 hits and only 3 casualties out of ten planes. We were surrounded by hostiles as soon as we departed. Very intense. I hope you like it.
I,d like to thank to Krause for his tips on using Fraps and Premiere and also for his wonderful tutorials!

Hi David. Nice work.
Was your capture framerate choppy like that or did it happen during encoding/editing?

I use FRAPS with no degradation, seemingly, but it does catch the micro-stutters I see no matter if FRAPS is on or not.

Hi Guys, thank you Krause!
I didn’t notice it was choppy. I t might be because I captured at 30 fps and encoded at 29,97. Or may be because with Fraps running my graphic card doesn’t support all the workload. I noticed some jumps from time to time. My intention was to upload the hole flight. Then I thought editing it in this way would result much more atractive and it resumes very well how the mission went along. This is the reason the captures aren’t very nice. I fly with two screens one beneath the other and I look down very often. Next one will be better. Any advice appreciated!

No the output framerate is fine at 29.97 - that’s what I use as well. To my last comment it was probably just your system FPS as you were recording. It’s cool, was just curious if the source footage (un-encoded) was like that and if so I was going to make some suggestions to help. But it looks like it’s the best it’s going to be. Good work!
