An offer to pass up if you wish.

On the off chance that you are serious, Gyro, the BMS team is more than competent enough to wipe out the bugs - except those between the ejection seat and the ICP, as always - and will not give away the source code.
Why, you might ask ? Because the team has its reasons, period.

This guy fixed already the Steerpoint autoswitching without the source code, imagine what he can do with the Source code!
We will get (SuperMonsterdouble*Ubertriplemonstarfalcan) ^32768.I guess your statistics are as reliable as the other statistics in that post?
I am not the most active user on the forums, but somehow - I got a feeling…

Initially I opened this post in a state of pure glee …. ‘Oh, goody! Another Gyro post. Pure entertainment, Fk yeah!!’
Then I remembered ‘I dont waste peoples time on things that dont exist, im a programmer’, so now I must read this with an expectation of real and lasting value. Golly, I hope I’m not disappointed.
Off to post #1 … wish me luck.

Nooooooooooooo!!!
So disappointed. G’dam it!! I wanted it to be real!!
Kill. Me. Now.

I see in the FAQ section that the FLIR has been removed because the latest batch of F16’s doesnt have it.
So I can therefore take it that this is the latest Korean War being fought in the country in 2014. Hmm nope, same trucks and stuff from previous Sim versions, so I guess its new planes in an old theatre.
Its the era with this guy in charge……

Duncan’s known me a while in the past and knows exactly what im on about.

Heck id like the time of day source, to fix the strange rotation of stars and to add real positions of them. But its not practical and also is dangerous to give out the source.

People have had to die to protect resources.
The same would be true here to protect it.
There is such thing as BMS Code Templar Knights you know……

Well I guess that the flaming is still continuing and as such I shall forget that idea and leave you to get on with it.
As for something incredibly useful to us all Red Dog a post containing a list of all up to date callbacks or a modified version of the spreadsheet you did would be fabulous. Possibly htne it may be that I and others can work out why “Time of Day” command actually operates as the SOI FOV, Ive done my homework as instructed sir.
The references to which HOTAS is used was just a gathered by chatting to other users of BMS. Just a simple out of x number of users which HOTAS or Joystick you use is all that came from. But as I know you guys would miss me if I wasnt here and have nobody to let loose your flaming on I thought Id post it just out of curiosity.
As for the HOTAS files included in the Falcon BMS you may / may not be aware that the Saitek one in particular is not recognised as a legitamate one on the latest version of the SST program. Hard Deck had the right idea of a combination of Direct X and profile for the stick and I have a more than adequate flight profile now.
Some may be interested that Microsoft has seen fit to actually make a gaming controller profile for the X52 HOTAS available from the Microsoft download site, please dont get it from any other site other than of course Saitek or MadCatz.
Thanks to all you posters out there, its nice to know I attract so much attention when I write these little items and that so many people are still using this wonderful flight sim. Looking forward to the next update, 4 to 6 weeks is it?

I would like to have a copy of … your current stratagem of functionality within the pit other than Track IR and Cougar joysticks. Dunno if you are aware of this or not but 80% of pilots today are using Saitek sticks, 5% other brands, 8.5% Thrustmaster sticks and the low 7% may be using cougars. Definite design flaw in the game there guys. Id suggest a rethink of exactly whose flying it these days.
.Alright, Ill bite…
Whats wrong with the F-16 HOTAS setup?
No, really. What exactly are you suggesting be improved in this respect?
If you have an improvement in the controls to suggest, post it here, and we can include with in Mav-jp’s thoughts on how to improve the FLCS roll controls and send it to LM…

Ha Blu3 to be fair…
“Dunno if you are aware of this or not but 80% of pilots today are using Saitek sticks, 5% other brands, 8.5% Thrustmaster sticks and the low 7% may be using cougars.”
Gyro is right I checked these figures with the “Bureau of Statics” (http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/[email protected]/Lookup/B10BDF0266D26389CA257C89000E3FD8?opendocument)
So I think BMS should rethink their direction. They cant be seen to be decimating in any way.
PS: I think im getting old 80+5+8.5+7 = 100.5 ???

I do like the differentiation there between cougars an TM hardware.

Blu3 what are you talking about? If you would have actually clicked on the link you would have been laughing your ass off. LMAO.

I shoulda made it clearer I was responding to Gyro, not Shad…
I did click the link, Im a fan of ABS figures
