Does anyone know how to adjust the starting gun ammo in DF module or TE or both hopefully?
-
It is not possible.

Not correct.

How can be done? I have tried many times without success and I examined a but more gun during a converstion where somebody asked the weight of gun ammo.

How can be done?
DB, under Vehicle>Aircraft at bottom, Hardpoint/Weapons, for the F16C-52, click on top entry Weapon which is the 20mm M61, it will highlight, click on Edit, the Ammunition page will appear, change the 51(which is 510 as it’s in increments of x10), up to 254(which is 2540), click OK, click recalculate and Update.

First you say it can’t be done, then you ask how it can be done, then you reply with of course through the DB it can be done, really?
Fuel qty??? Nowhere is he asking about fuel qty! Not sure why you are misunderstanding his question or gave the above posts to the subject as you don’t seem to understand it can be done easily through the DB.
The DB needs to be changed prior to the creation of TE’s so that it takes effect for whichever AC is present or want’s to be changed in the TE.
It takes effect in DF once set in DB.

Thx guys. I want to limit it to 150rds. So I’m assuming each pilot multiplayer would have to modify their own respective DB, which would have to be changed again resuming normal operations correct?

Yes, the entry in the Ammunition page would be 15(10x15=150). Also yes, to changing it back to normal ops of 51.

Wow take a chill pill dude…
It can be read both ways. I actually read it as Molni did the first time around.

Thanks again guys! So does anyone know what the weight of 360rds of 20mm M61A1 ammo is by chance?
Edit: Or does it auto calculate that?

not calculated, the sim (I believe) assumes a full load of cannon at all times.
you wanna play with a really light jet for practice, make one of them a USN F-16 with no cannon by setting the rounds to 0 and removing the weight of the M61A1 from the plane… wont be quite accurate without moving the CoG though.

DL this http://tactical.nekromantix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20917 and use it to open your falcon4.fed file located in the Falcon BMS/data/terrdata/objects folder

What hollywood here may have forgot to mention is that screwing with this stuff is multiplayer critical, and you should probably back up your install before you do this.
