WDP PPT's and LINES
-
Well, I use the WDP in the campaign, is very useful, provides you with a lot of important information that one couldn’t remember by himself.
But I have one problem there: when I load the mission, the WDP successfully loads the mission, gives information+ detects the Air Defense battalions etc… and designates them with a PPT.
But I just don’t succeed in getting this into the game.Everytime I click on ‘Save DTC’ and go to the 3D world, I just don’t get to see those PPT’s. Does somebody know how to fix this ?
Edit: I can’t get anything from the WDP into the game. Not only PPT’s but just anything.

If you open up the DTC menu in the planner and click load, do they appear in game? If so, once in the pit, are you loading via the DTE page?

I’ve already tried that, but I just don’t get to see them in both the 2D and 3D-world

How do you exactly do it ? Maybe I’ve forgotten some things.

I don’t really manage PPTs in WDP that often - prefer to manually manage known threats that will be in my vicinity during that particular mission. I do much of my planning in BMS, then do any tweaking of the data card etc in WDP. For me, in BMS, I load up the DTC window, hit load to ensure the tower comms and EWS are there correctly. I then do all my mission specific planning: PPTs, Divert field, STPT changes, Nav Points such as TACAN hold approach hold points. I save the DTC and back out to the main menu. I usually then alt-tab out and load up the .cam file in Mission Commander to change flight callsigns, increase or decrease flight sizes, etc., and save it. I then open it WDP and make any further changes needed. I save the file DTC and export the datacard and kneeboard .dds files and go back into the sim and enter the campaign. I load the DTC in the BMS UI and the changes made via WDP should appear in map. Now, all the planning is saved to the DTC ini files. Once in the pit, part of the start up process involves loading the DTC from the MFD. This is done via the DTE page, then press OSB 3 LOAD.
Once the INS has initialised, you’ll get all the STPTs and PPTS/Lines that you created.

Well, I’ll try that
But it’s also that I can’t get anything into the game from the WDP. But I’ll try your method first

You don’t need to leave the game open BTW. I do it out of laziness, but TBH, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s actually recommended to not do so.

Well, it worked, I see the LINES and PPT’s
I can’t put the EWS, MFD-data into the game, but that will be something I’ll do via BMS
Also no VIP/VRP, but I’ll do that manuallyThanks a lot !

Glad it’s working, mate.
