Opentrack suddenly hangs on open
-
So I haven’t used opentrack in a few weeks but I haven’t updated my system either. Tonight when I start opentrack I get a black preview screen with “Hz: 1” in the upper left corner. Tried a fresh profile, empty profile, rebooted system, checked AV logs, nothing. My input device is correctly auto-detected as a Logitech HD Webcam C525. The native Logitech webcam software works as expected and sees me just fine. If I start opentrack and then try the Logitech software it correctly reports the camera is in use by opentrack. Uninstalled 2.3.0 and upgraded to 2.3.1.5 - no go. Did a regedit looking for leftovers after another uninstall - nothing funny.
Any clues?
P.S. I’ll accept that the author has blacklisted users in the U.S. based on out last election proving Mencken’s conjecture but I was really in the mood to blow some stuff up for the same reason.

Have you tried reinstalling your cam drivers?

I had ruled out the camera drivers as Logitech GUI works fine while it is only the Opentrack GUI that hangs. I’ll see if it works once I find the relevant install disk or driver download.
Update: Reinstalled latest Logitech software, still no joy.
What other dependencies does opentrack have that I must have messed up?
