Issus with chaff and flare

i have been doing some instant actions to practice my dogfighting

and i noticed that after a couple of games my chaff and flare stopped working.
and after awhile my cannon stopped working aswill.
but if i go to options and press both the keys i have bond to chaff and flare the game registers some just fine but in game they dont work.
tho i think it might be something with the scoring system that comes with the instant action games.
anyway any help would be much appreciated

Instant action is not supported as a part of the sim.

Id recommend using the dogfight module instead to practice dogfighting.

I have a similar issue in all modules of the sim and the only way I find to rectify it is to clear my x65 BMS profile and reload it. Which entails alt-tabbing out and that is always a roll of the dice.

Do you by any chance have a x65?

Instant action has infinite ammo which probably gets buggy after a while. If you are pressing SimDropChaff and SimDropFlare, that’s ooooooooooold news. Depricated. Kaput. Obsolete. Unsupported.

Man up and learn SimCMS(Up/Right/Down/Left) and SimSlapSwitch callbacks. Know the program knob, the whole CMDS panel, man, semi, auto, bypass, everything. Write EWS programs to your DTC. It’s no longer 1960. The modern Viper has a sophisticated countermeasures system. It’s time to bring the gray matter out of retirement and join 21st century warfare.
