Hey I was wondering how this works. Do the missiles carried by aircraft unused still negate from the supply stocks? And when the squadron status says resupply at 0600 does this mean full missiles and some aircraft or as needed? And also I see many types of ordinance showing as out yet they continue to be loaded by the ATO though unavailable to me for over a day.

As I can remember no. In very old times you can turn into config editor that weapons on lost AC also lost but my guess this is default now. Yes, as I know in the marked time both weapons and AC are added.
afaik at least some part of that system is still running. if you fly tons of missions and throw lots of ammunition out, and then load the campaign in mission commander you will see a depleted stock. you’ll just never really run out because both sides have a ludicrous amount of war supply, such that it’s basically impossible to run out as far as i can tell.
well look at the pics as I have all 3 squadrons of F18’s off the carrier out of amraam’s even though they were resupplied 0600 this morning and air to air engagements are light hence my question if ordinance is not used in sorties does it return to stock.
huh. i really need to start actually reading the OP.
my guess is it’s because you’re on a carrier. i’ve never had supply issues, including running out/missiles re-added to stocks. it should be testable with mission commander, though. schedule some guys to take off, save the campaign, load, check stocks, wait for them to complete STPTs, land (while also making sure that no resupply has happened) then save, check stocks again.
i’ve never tested it, to be honest.
the fact that you are running out of missiles without extremely heavy fighting indicates to me that something else is up.
edit: in particular i doubt non-expended ammunition disappears. unless supply is more titanic than i thought, this would basically mean that the round-the-clock OPs later in the campaign would deplete all stock everywhere very quickly.
when you check the squadron status as per one pic above it shows last supply, last aircraft supply and next supply among other info and yes I agree with you that carrier stuff is clearly different.
