I recently have a new computer and I installed falcon BMS but it keeps on crashing when I launch it.
Is it because of windows 10 ?

Did you install the original Falcon 4 game on your new computer?
I doubt it is because of Windows 10. A lot of people including me run BMS under windows 10 without problems.

Windows 10 may be the reason for the crash problems. If you have the 64-bit Windows 10, try the tips of my blog post:

In Configuration>General, disable(uncheck) Play Intro Movie on Startup

            Run in windowed mode.

Right click on your desktop icon, go to properties.

In the Target box add the -window switch to the end of the Target address, Example: “C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U3\Launcher.exe” -window

Make sure there is a space between the close quote and the -window switch.

Can’t help with your problem, but just wanted to confirm that I’m a Win10 64 bit BMS user. No problems here.

                What Cloud 9 said above.

I run Win 10 64 bit and have no problems at all. I think the Intro Movie is probably what’s killing your BMS.

I have (finally) installed Windows 10 Pro x64 last week, including all the latest drivers, and have no problems at all with BMS and other hardware or software.

One thing I did though: I ran the BMS Launcher EXE with Compatibility mode set to an earlier Windows version (Right click, Properties). Both Launcher and BMS run without any issues.

                  Cheers

I fixed the issue by setting to “Run this program as an administrator” in Compatibility tab when right clicking.
