[Android] Falcon ICP + DED (now on Google Play)

Hi,
I’ve created an application which extracts functional ICP with DED. All the keys are clickable and all the switches are operated with a slide gesture. I think it’s quite intuitive to use the app together with the PC server, so there’s no need to comment a lot. Interaction is almost instant without noticeable delay. The PC server app should detect keyfiles location. Just choose the one you use in Falcon and then check if all ICP buttons are mapped. The app has a built-in keystrokes editor which is really easy to use and it shouldn’t let you set a keystroke that is already in use. But just in case, I’d recommend to make a backup of the keyfile. The Android app was created for phones but I’ve tested also some larger resolutions on emulator, so it should work fine on tablets too.
I’m looking forward to any comments or requests.

I am using Kolbes keyfile (slightly modified by me) and I get the error "Invalid file format at line 274:
ExtinguishMasterCaution 1 0 0XF 0 0 0 1 “EYE: MASTER CAUTION Button”I even deleted that line, still get the error.
EDIT I removed the “EYE: Master Caution Button” text and put in “Test”, I’m guessing the : colon threw it off. Works now! Thank youuuuuuu!

I’m using Kolbe’s keyfile (BMS_Keystrokes_Ver_1_6_Full.key) unmodified and get the same error.
Also, the ICP server is pulling the wrong IP address from my computer. I have a virtual adapter that is used with Virtual Box, and it is pulling that IP rather than my Ethernet or wireless. Not a deal breaker, I can disable the interface temporarily and it gets the correct address.

Didn’t work for me. Every line has a colon, so that’s probably not it.
I remarked out the entire line with a # and the ICP Server can then load it.

Used it on a test flight last night, other than the keyfile quirk, it works great! I might have to go buy a used Android phone and mount it permanently somehow

This is a very nice, simple app.
One thing I’d like to see is a donate button or paid version.

Great app, no latency, small footprint server, the DED is a big Plus and the slide gestures very comfortable.
The installation and setup is very easy and straightforward.
One of its brilliant points is that you do not have to mess with your keyfile, just give the app the name of the keyfile you are using in Falcon and voilá.

I’ve recently try it, very good but here is a problem. I do have a rl ICP and all keys for it are assigned in directx mode, so no actual keyboard commands. So since they appear “empty” in the keyfile there is no option to make it work and recognize these commands. It would be a great feature for a future update.

Very well done, thank you! Reading the key-file and showing the bindings and what’s missing = brilliant. All in a small footprint, excellent.
I did get the app to crash once or twice but didn’t manage to grab the exception - will try to if it happens again.

Perfect. simple and user friendly and connets to pc without almost doing anything. I am waiting for other cocpit displays.

Hello there! I have some difficulties here… I’m using an Adnroid tablet, I do have connection, but I don’t have the DED on screen… And then, when I assigned the buttons from the BMS set up, I didn’t manage to assign this “ICP DCS SW UP MOM” and “ICP DCS SW DN MOM”…
Any ideas please???INPUT: The DED is ok!!! The problem still remains with the assignment…

By chance, are you using a 10.1 Tablet?

Αny help please? I cannot assign the switches at the bottom and the UP and DN button. NUM buttons and the upper buttons are ok.
