After i made a flight with SPICE 2000 and watched the ACMI, i noticed that all bombs hit the same way, 45 degrees & direct. In flight i changed the Impact angle and azimuth for each bomb.

Does the DED Spice parameters are not actually implemented and just “eye candy” ?

        It’s implemented. and working.
Please note that when you add impact constraints, you’ll have an inner DLZ added (similar to what you get with AAM, i.e Rmax and Rne).

if bomb is released outside the “Rne” zone (i.e as you hit the DLZ at max range) the FCC will ignore constraints, as weapon will not have enough smash to reach the target.
withing the internal DLZ, it will follow the constraints you have set.

O.k, progress, i managed to get the inner DLZ on the hud.
              I was at a heading of 200, droped the bomb (DED parameters : Angle=60 \ Azimuth=340).

Watched the ACMI, bomb went straight to the target (HDG=200) and the impact angle was, i think again at 45 degrees (Default).
In the manual it said that max. configured azimuth, should be 60 degrees (on each side, or 30/30 ?)
If 340-200=140, then why i had the inner DLZ ?

              I’m confused . . .

                  I think it’s a ±30 degree arc.

i.e, if your bearing to the target is heading 090. then you can set an approach vector of 060 to 120. (you don’t need to be flying directly to the target, but you need to be in the general direction)
I might be wrong and it might be ±60 degrees, but you can’t get the bomb to pass over the target, and circle around.

in game, with the current damage model, it’s practically useless.
IRL, it has meaning. as SPICE can target a specific impact point in a specific azimuth (for example, hitting a tunnel entrance). or a specific penetration angle to make sure minimum collateral damage or higher target penetration.

Thanks for the info, and like the delilah, this weapon ROCKS (Very accurate).
I just wanted to test its BMS capabillities, now i know its limits.

                    Thanks man 🙂

Hmm, it’s not quite useless, well sort-off, yeah, DP is very low indeed, one vehicle per bomb and you can carry only 2/4… but hitting a (non-)emitting radar from a good range… Just saying, it’s not useless.

found good use finally , sam-cleaning, telars of sa11 or sa17… you don’t want to mess with them in knife-fight. Even harm can miss, but not delilah 😉

Uri ment for the azimuth and angle parameters of the missile . . . this missile is one of the best as long as the pilot knows whats he is doing 🙂
