      Hi all

IVC client is greyed out in my BMS launcher but I can execute it from its folder …\x86\IVC\IVC client.exe

      Any clues?

Very weird… there’s hardly any need to launch the client stand-alone unless you’re testing connections to a dedicated IVC server or similar.

BMS will auto-start the client if you connect to an MP server so I wouldn’t worry about it too much (though I’ve never seen this before I must admit).

        All the best, Uwe

*FTR if you have a custom audio setup and send IVC to a different audio device than default windows audio device, you need to launch and set this before launching BMS. I use VoiceMeeter Banana for streaming/recording and other things, so launching IVC Client first is essential – I’d love to know if I could save a non-default audio device so BMS can auto-launch IVC when I join our server, but AFAIK this is not possible.

Launcher will gray out IVC Client entry if IVC Client.exe is not found in expected location. This includes renamed file. Check IVC Client.exe by exact name (“IVC client.exe” apparently OK) 604,160 bytes without anything too weird in properties.

Hi Frederf, thank you for the help! My exe file was wrong: IVC_Client.exe in spite of IVC Client.exe. Now it works and it is no more grayed out in the launcher 😄
By the way, how can I increase the volume of IVC human comms in 3D world? They are very low compared to the AI (tower, tanker, AWACS… they are very loud and clear)
              Best regards

Look under the advanced controller options….

Look at the Backup UHF panel

“The tiny volume knob has been implemented (with analogue values as well) to balance IVC volume against AI volume.”
