Alpha Strike
This is a TE for Nordic Cold War. Most of the BLUE side flights are off the aircraft carrier and some from land bases.
There are 2 parts:
The strike packages are tasked to hit 2 army bases and a radar site, A-6 Strike, A-7 SEAD and F-14A Escort.
There is an EA6 for EW and 1 AWACS. Norway has F-5s providing TARCAP and Sweden has a flight of JA-37
doing SWEEP.The RED side counters with Intercept flights, MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25; air defenses SA2, SA3 and SA5.
AWACS is available for the RED side.RED side TASMO in an attempt to disable the aircraft carrier, Tu-16 TASMO, MiG-29 Escort (2 packages) and MiG-21 SWEEP.
The BLUE side counters with intercept flights, F-14A and F-15A for USA and 2 F-104G flights for Norway.
A-6 and A-7 flights can only be joined in flight (starrats is working on a fix for this problem), all other flights can
be joined in Ramp, Taxi, and Take Off (Ramp and Taxi for the F-14).
AWACS is available for all BLUE flights.https://www.dropbox.com/s/kpza3zuepyxwvgk/AlphaStrikeU1.7z?dl=0
Cheers

I flew this as Russian Tasmo bombers. This is a very hard job for these 4 bombers to get a shot or two at the carrier group. It is possible though. Then I flew as Russian TASMO escorts mig29. And then f14 intercepts for USA. Both of these jobs are full of fun dogfights with gobs of missiles flying in all directions.
On the other (base strikes) I flew Norway f5s to protect jammer or airspace around the A6 strike zones. The A6 strikes put on a good show but then some mig21s crashed the party and the close range dogfights broke out left and right!
Fun fun fun
I updated post one to include AlphaStrike on my mediafire.
Thanks for this Cold War scenario Luke!

Anybody with some TEs we can use in the Nordic Theater 1.7.3, that would be great if You can share with others.

Two TEs for the Nordic theater; the difference between the two is Russia only defends in the the first version and both defends and attacks in the second version. Strike flights are on F-16CM-50 and Tornado, TARCAP flights are on EF2000, HAVCAP flights are on F-16MLU, BARCAP flights are on F-15C and Intercept flights are on JA-39. Two tankers for pre and post strike refuel and 1 AWACS.
Tornado flights are planned at low level; F-16 have different loadout for the 2 aircraft, one is loaded with GBU 38 and the other with AGM-88 to defend against SAMs.
Russia employs SU-27 for Intercepts and Escort and Su-34 for Strike and SEAD. 1 Tanker and 1 AWACS.
If you choose the F-16 you are in for a long flight (from testing the TE I recommend you load the HTS on the lead aircraft, if you take that slot, and direct the wingman to shoot the AGM-88 at the SAM sites. I also suggest to increase the time for refueling to 15 minutes (guesstimate) for the first refuel for all F-16 flights. This is only required for SP).Cheers

I decided to modify these TEs after some more testing both SP and MP. The modifications should improve the survaivability chances for the AI flights and the AI doing a better job. Currently I am working on a new TE and want to finish this one first, I should be able to publish the new versions by the end of October beginning of November (apologies for the time frame, RL in the way)
Link to the new version of this TE, added a few SEAD flights. V2 is the only modified TE for now.

It seems like they are all here :
I guess they all need to be converted to 4.37, do you remember which version of BMS they were made for in 2017?

@Killroy don’t remember

Good catch this, dear mate…
Thanks a lot for your help and effort.But I unfortunately have to confirm that all of them should be converted per MC before attempting anything else - I remembered there was one of mine among them, by the matter, so I would be more than only curious to see what, and how, I put in it, .
And here the troubles come, I’m really afraid:- as first, MC Converting a mission utility needs to run the previous Nordic version to be installed within its proper Falcon version installation (of 6 years ago, please note: what is, and is it still available here? I’m suspecting it to be one of the 4.32 ones, but I’m not totally sure) as a basic requirement;
- that admitted, and successfully accomplished!, serious incompatibility conflict will immediately come between their maps itselves’ content (assets!) and databases (the elder and the most recent one, I mean), thus distorting the real essence of a serious tactical engagement: its fidelity to its creator’s will and concepts.
My very sad conclusion could not different that this one be: that isn’t worth any best effort.
Thinking to conceive new missions from scratch, of practical necessity, would come better, besides that faster.Just my own cent (of Euro) here, nothing more or else, of course.
