Wingman disappearing at the beginning of the mission

This happened a few times lately. I hear the tower give him takeoff clearance but nothing after. His com menu disappearing after a few minutes as he is like left the mission.
On the debreif, no. 2 status is as RTB.

Anyone experienced this ?

When on RWY is he positioned correctly or he is spinning around his tail behind you? If that happens then actually he never takes off and I think he is not spotted by data link neither.
