Disconnecting Joystick when playing other Titles.
-
Greetings everyone.
I use my PC mostly to fly Bms and I’ve set it up so as to make my experience as good as possible. I got myself a TM Warthog and a pair of TM MFDs (plus the much needed TracKir). I have a second screen where I’ve extracted the MFDs aswell as some other gauges.
As it is probably the case with most of you, I also have other titles/games (non-Flight Sims) which also interest me.
When playing these other games, I keep my Throttle/Joystick/MFDs connected to my PC even though I don’t need to use them.
Is this OK or should I consider disconnecting my input devices if Im not using them?
Like I stated earlier, I fly BMS a lot, almost every other day plus my weekly Online session so having to connect/disconnect my hardware seems pointless.
What are your views on this.
Thanks everyone for your time.
Kind regards.

I leave my setup connected pretty much continuously. The only time I disconnect is if the joystick interferes with a program I am running, which is almost never.

Me to, I leave mine connected all the time without any issues.
