Screen Resolution problem
-
Hi!
I’ve gota a problem with the resolution configuration. First my config:
- Two projectors projecting to a cylindrical screen connected to a RX480 graphics card (3840x1080)
- One touch screen connected to a R9 290X (1920x1080) for YAME and Helios
The problem is, I don’t know how I did it but I run falcon on 3840x1080 without a problem until it suddenly changed again to 1920x1080…
I went to the graphics configuration in Falcon and saw it had changed the graphic card to the R9 290X, I changed it back to the RX480 to change the resolution but the program crashed…
Since then Falcon starts in 2D, but when I go to the config or try instant action it crashes, so I can’t change config again and I can’t fly…
Is there any solution to modify the flacon config file externally or do I have to install Falcon again from the start?
Thanks. Regards

Did you try to delete the dx9display.dsp file in the config folder? BMS will create a new one after being started.

No, I’ll try when I get home. Didn’t know which file should I delete.
Thanks!!

in 4.32 (and older) it was display.dsp now it is dx9display.dsp it is responsible for keeping your graphics related settings…

Works perfectly, it now starts and the 3840x1080 resolution can be selected again.
Thanks!!!
