Disappearing 3D Cockpit?

I’m having this issue with BMS 4.32.7 at random times whereby the 3D cockpit seems to disappear:
This seems to happen either when switching from external views back into the 3D pit but it also has happened after I was working with the TGP as well.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? And any ideas how I can make the 3D pit reappear?

…you have pressed the key combination for “empty cockpit shell”. Check your joystick or Keyfile profil!

Ah, I have? Well that’s interesting. Never knew that this was even an accidentally triggered feature!
