Having problems downloading bms4.33 from Qbittorrent???

I cant get falcon bms 4.33 to download from qbittorrent, I open qbittorrent and click on search, I then recieve several falcon bms download files in the search window, I then click on download and this opens this window that has a flow bar that says " retrieveing metadata", according to what a you tube tutorial showed was that within a few minutes that retrieving metadata was supposed to show itself complete, but instead it just continually shows a green flow inside the bar and never completes to allow the file to down load, I am new to all this qbittorrent stuff and at a complete loss, is there something Im missing, all this peer, seeding talk, what the heck is that??? yet, every body talks like this is an easy thing and its not if youre not taught how to do this, does anybody have a clue?

You don’t need to search for anything inside the torrent client, just get these .torrent files and open them with your client (qBit, in your case), the client will then figure it out and download.

edit: In the extremely unlikely case that there are no seeds (people with complete files) online ATM, I’ll be glad to seed until you get the files.

edit edit : all three torrents are fully active and downloadable, with at least 20+ seeds, just checked.

Hey Dumba, I got the files inside the qbittorrent, that is looking pretty good, under status it shows 0.0% stalled, 0 seeds and 0 peers, what ever all that means, just thought that info might be helpful because I am still at a loss, what do I do? am I to just sit and wait for this thing to download or is there some button I can hit to get things going, because its not doing anything other than that, I am not an expert with qbittorrent just learned a little from a tutorial, can you seed me?….I guess thats what I need.

if you don’t have any seeds it’s probably because there is something inhibiting you from connecting to the swarm. that could be your router, your firewall, your ISP, policy you’ve set, etc.

you will probably have to find out what’s causing it before it will work- otherwise you’ll have to find a direct download somewhere.

Seconded, there is a connectivity issue on your side then. Can you try with another computer, or take a laptop to a different network and try from there?

Are you able to download other torrents? Let’s get you something to try and download… here is a Linux distribution, just to see if you can download at all.

The ubuntu file is in the qbittorrent window along with the other files, the status shows that it is queued, so it is in the queue waiting for the other files to download, another thing I did was to d-click on one of the original files that was showing their status as stalled, a drop down box showed a forced resume option, I clicked on it and the status changed from stalled to downloading, so now they are all showing downloading in status which is encouraging but still at 0.0% download and 0 seed and peers, that is all I know to do, but I have learned some things along the way here.

Well you definitely have some issues with your Internet then, most likely your ISP is blocking torrent traffic.

I don’t know if hosting the files for direct download is against the Tommo rules? Anyone?

1. You don’t need to search for BMS download files. Get your .torrent files direct from this site so you know you’re downloading the legit copy of the installers. To give you an idea, there’s the legit copy, but then anyone can throw up a .torrent with a fake copy or one with a virus. If you download that fake .torrent from some dodgy site, then you’re on your own, really. That’s why you should only download the .torrent from trusted sites, namely the official BMS forums.

2. Follow my guide. Everything you need is there, even the links to the actual pages where you can get the official .torrent files on STEP #3.

3. My advice for you is to delete your current torrents…… right-click on them, click on DELETE, and make sure you tick the box that says ALSO DELETE THE FILES ON THE HARD DISK on the pop-up window that comes up. Then basically start from scratch following my instructions from the post above.

I strongly suspect you’ve got bad .torrent files if you see zero seeders and leechers. As for direct hosting, there are direct download links for Bast+U1 and U2, but none for U3… again, you can see this on the official download pages.

Lately i’ve run into this too. Just keep hitting forsed resume until you get the whole download.

I just downloaded again. The U1 installer downloaded as it should. The two updates require me to force resume 25-30 times to get the downloads. I’m baffled as to why, but it consistantly does it and seems to be getting worse.

I’m seeding them 247. I’ve uploaded it about 600 times now according to the stats ha.
