Its relatively simple, if you consider:
            CMS FWD - release chaff/flare
            CMS BACK - jammer emits
            CMS LEFT - release chaff/flare
CMS RIGHT - jammer does not emit

#1 has aft/right is doing double duty giving permission for jammer and dispenser and is how BMS is set up. Right top line is ECM standby (jammer quiet) and bottom line is “SEMI from AUTO” meaning rescinding automatic dispenser permission. Aft top line is ECM on, bottom line is consent to dispense for the semi in response to a prompt (or giving future permission to AUTO).

#2 is a different beast, probably newer/ more advanced. https://www.terma.com/media/291446/advanced_countermeasures_dispenser_system.pdf The mention of ITAR makes me think this is for export, possibly MLUs and E/F countries. Probably the lack of the dispenser consent wording indicates a move away from that system toward a more automated on based on an electronic database of threats and close coordination with the jammer, similar APSIS for HAF.
