I fly with Saitek X52 HOTAS and Pro Flight rudder pedals.
Unfortunately I’ve broken my Mini-DIN 6 pin cable that connects the flight stick to the throttle controller.
No biggie, I ordered a new cable.
In the meantime however, I’ve tried running my old ST290 Pro stick with the X52 throttle but have experienced some issues in that once in the sim I my rudder axis on the stick no longer works and the “shift, /” key binding that typically engages NWS does nothing.
In addition, I’m having some difficulty assigning controls on the X52 throttle to pit functions though the throttle itself functions without issue both on the setup page and in the sim.
Haven’t even bothered attempting to add the pedals to the mix as I’m hoping my new cable arrives SOON.

I’m sure I could figure it out but what I need to know is whether or not it’s possible to fly with a mixed breed set up like this.
Of course if anyone has a silver bullet to throw out it may save me a lot of time better spent in the sim.

      Thanks in advance!

Definitely possible, I do it every day with my X52 Pro throttle.

If you use SST, You need to go back I to your SST profile and remove any mention of the Mode selector switch positions from the profile callouts (top of each profile. Otherwise SST looks for that mode selector input all the time, and since the stick isn’t hooked up, there isn’t an input and SST gets confused.

Start there and see if you still have problems.
