HELP: 697th Fighter Squadron - MiG-29A issue

Version: Israeli Theater 1.0.3 for BMS 4.33.3
Detailed Description
Can’t task MiG-29A from the 697th Fighter Squadron out of Sayqal

Reproducibility
1. Start Falcon BMS (Theater ITO)
2. Start TE Builder
3. Save Tactical Engagement as “Test.tac”
4. Start TE Test.tac and join Syria
5. Try to add Package/Flight of MiG-29A out of Sayqal

Any ideas?

Nick,

Had the same problem and only currently noticed it.
The possible cause of the problem is a typo in teplanes.lst file located under
the theater’s campaign folder.

To fix it:

1. Open the teplanes.lst file with a text editor.
2. Go to the line that reads: // MiG-29A Fulcrum
3. At line that just follows the above make sure it reads (7 numbers): 1 6 17 8 21142 53 10090
4. Correct any typo (most likely it is the third number: for me 14 appeared instead of 17).
5. Save and test in TE editor.

Hi there , same problem in Israel 1980s , i add squadron manualy from mission commander , all works good , flights are randomly generated but when i want create own flight i cant find Mig-29A in selection , when i add Mig-29S all work fine so where is the problem i want try campaign on side Syria air force with Mig-29A

Tested it and after modifying teplanes.lst to read 1 6 17 8 21142 53 10090
all worked fine (test was with the latest release of the theater).
By the way teplanes.lst can be edited from mission commander (planes tab).

It appears that this error in teplanes.lst exists in default Korea and (possibly / to be confirmed)
other theaters.
Root cause is in the database. Referring to CT record 163 (Mig-29A) instead of CT record 1848 (also Mig-29A)
in teplanes.lst while no aircraft vehicle record exists for CT 163.

I try it again , and you are right, mission commander choose you 2 mig-29A , you must select right one , because one work , second didnt , choose wrong one
No it is solved and i enjoy Mig-29 over Syria
